Be careful that it is the archos 5 with android and not the last generation without. The 5s without android are cheap.

the horrible reviews probably come from either ipod trend-lovers or people who are trying to run way too many apps on it at once (for the ones who complain about crashing issues)
Attack Of The Show (AOTS) on G4 did a review on the Archos 5. it didnt get that good of a rating.

theres an app for the droid to watch flash videos so you can watch redtube, youporn et ALL THE PORN YOU WANT lol
they have updated, but they withdrew the 1.6 fw b/c of wifi issues and it’s rootable
the headbox dont work after 2 months
you have to press the shell to make it work
every hour hanging 2-3 times
Fm-Transmitter only usable with Headset
Radio dont work good
The new firmware help not for the crashes
and scrolling is very bad
Archos are cheap and support are is unfriendly
