This ish doesn’t work for Google Apps for education!
WTF, how can I get edumacated with my iPhone if my Google Apps for Education email doesn’t work.
you’re not missing anything, it does the same thing anyways
The Regular Gmail on the iphone still does the same thing anyways…Well if im missing something wat is it?
No I mean, by default. In this video, he says that we need to manually enter it in the settings. I was wondering if you don’t have to go through all that now by just clicking the Gmail icon and boom! You are done!
all firmware has it.
Does the new firmware have Gmail IMAP?
Great video, very useful.
This video was not too helpful. I want to have gmail on my iphone but want it password protected. The video does not address that possibility.
haha wow, talk about missing the point of the video
Put more lighting your hands look dirty
well at least we can us it on a phone
is there anything cool and new these days?
This is old school
notice the video added was over a year ago ^-^
Exactly. On the iPhone 3G, you do not need this IMAP thing. Its so last year..
one 2.0 and 2.1 version its called “push” or whatever its under wifi in settings
they fixed this a while ago
This is old info, you do not need to do this on a 3G iPhone! If you use the gmail icon, it sets up a imap account so this video is not useful anymore
yeah? is there a difference between the IMAP and POP? =P
I had already set my gmail account on my iphone by clicking the Gmail icon under email accounts.. IMAP seems to work just fine even though I didn’t select “Other” as the video instructed. They must have updated it.
does this have push?
Hmmm, is this for 2.x ??
