the internet does not use minutes.
but it does cost fourty dollars a month.
and if your house does not have a REALLY good signal then the internet does not even work.
my brother has the iphone, and honestly it really isn’t worth it.
The internet IS free. You have to have a plan for phone service, but the internet is free and automatic.

the iphone is $399 whether it is wirth it is a personal decision, but you can only get Iphone service through AT&T they have an exclusive contratc with Apple til 2012, so if you get one you can’t use Nextel service for it they can not activate it, only AT&T can activate an Iphone, there plan is 2 years $59.95 a month

It does NOT use the minutes of your plan.
When you buy an iPhone and activate it, you have to choose a plan and they all include unlimited data which means unlimited Edge network!
Edge can be pretty slow but then if you have any wireless internet (wifi) Then you can use that and it will be your normal internet.

No. Every iPhone comes with unlimited Data which is 20 bucks a month. Go ahead and use internet, maps, youtube and email as much as you want. It doesn’t even touch your minutes or texts or whatever.
