Hi, these instructions are very clear, I just have a question - I get that to reassemble the iphone you just do what you showed in reverse, but how do you put the ribbons back?

Also, my iphone screen is working fine, its just smashed, do I only need to purchase the glass part?

Hi just bought #g iphone and less than a week i faced problem with its LCD… there’s no display, backlight, and images, its totally black… please kindly help me to fix iphone, i am dying to use it again.

Easy question. The cables are numbered so but them back on in reverse numbers. All parts we carry are on PDAparts(dot)com.

i cracked only my glass, my digitizer/touchscreen still works, can i buy just a glass lens and replace it or do i need a new digigter as well

If I am reading this correctly you are refering to the digitizer which is the glass lens. They come as on part. Goto PDAparts(dot)com and look at part number IP-2213

I do not know what part I need, the top layer of the glass next to the button on the black part of the phone has cracked. The screen works and the phone still functions normally. What part do I need?

You need an iPhone 3G Digitizer. Goto PDAparts(dot)com and take a look at part number IP-2213
