    Thanks!

not that anything other than the internet speed matters. Half a second loading your ipod functions wont make much of a difference, if any.

  8. MeltingHolster says:

Keep in mind, you can’t press the buttons at the EXACT same time.

Its still pathetic how slow 3G is compared to how fast it is in the Apple commercials. 3G may be an improvement over EDGE but its still no where near WIFI speeds. I just loaded the same site on my Blackberry running on EDGE and it loaded just as fast as the 3G network thanks to Opera Mini.

    hahaha funny~

  11. AustinsRandomVideos says:

uh the new one takes longer cause they more features…duh

  12. permacoatings says:

hmmm, it seems like there’s more features loaded on the 3g, so could that be why some of the functions are slower on the 3g phone?

    that noise turns me on..

  14. JoeTNoonan says:

I could hear your nose whistle. It was kind of distracting.

  15. BrutalFx says:

    You should test battery life

  16. yfzi says:

man we can hear you breathing is annoying lol but nice video

  17. jokeefe83 says:

I ran the same test with my 2g iPhone and it only took about 7 seconds longer to load the site on my phone than their 3g test took

The 3G network does make a huge difference since the main reason I wanted this phone was because I wanted Music first and foremost and a nice browser out of a phone — if I had the original phone i would be pulling the hair out my head. the 3G is worth it , only difference is I only use it when i need it because if you leave it on, the phone will die before the end of the day.

  19. KidKlassic91 says:

nice video — UM , Even though I didn’t have the original iPhone ( but my brother-in-law does ) and I notice that when making new appointments in the Calender , it does take a lil more time than it would on my B-I-L’s iPhone. Also, a friend of mine has the iPhone 3G — she rarely uses her Calender. I sync dozens of Appointments from my mac and make atleast half a dozen on the go. I’m not sure if it’s because I have more appointments or because my phone is just a lil defective.

  20. MYTMIC says:

I think apple has ripped off all users who upgraded to 3G, the 3G network is so unreliable

  21. Overballen95 says:

the original, is a little bit more blurry i think.

  22. eperce says:

you are absolutely misleading about what the iphone 2g or original can do, remember it is NOT THE IPHONE it is the NETWORK upon which you are connecting the blame is on AT&T! not the iphone! Don’t be a hypocritical jackass! on Tmobile Jailbroke iphone I loaded this in 49 seconds with a 2g iPhone! had I been in a 3g network it would be faster than At&t’s 3g! Tell the truth and don’t be so biased! Remember the original iPhone is still 1 hell of a device! now I’ll be waiting, waiting for your Reply!

See? The 3G network CAN be twice as fast. That’s what Apple was trying to say. In this case, it was OVER twice as fast, with 34 seconds to approx. 2 minutes.
