I can cut & paste, take better pics/videos, replace the battery, voice dial, and actually place calls without staring at a screen.
My BlackBerry can do more and was free with a contract.

in EU we can buy an iphone without contract, that’s why it costs 499eur. In US you cannot buy it without contract…
Iphone will cost 120-150eur in a contract.
